It’s November! And that means Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is such a lovely, simple holiday. Family, good food, and football. Does life get any better?
Well, our November 2018 Sangria of the Month will kick your Thanksgiving spirit into high gear! Introducing…Cranberry Chai Sangria!
You’ve had a chai tea or a chai tea latte, right? Well, add some seasonal fruit and some booze, and you have this genius concoction from How Sweet Eats.
How Sweet Eats has some genius recipes! At the risk of sounding like a stereotypical millennial, their Autumn Bruschetta Board is EVERYTHING. Seriously. Lay this out on Thanksgiving morning and have a house full of happy all day long.
But back to that show-stealing sangria…
I’ll be honest here: this is more work than I have ever invested in a sangria. And ya know what? Totally worth it! This is the season of kitchens, people. So to prepare yourself to spend hours making turkey and stuffing and potatoes and bread and green beans and yams and pumpkin pie [pause to take a breath] by spending some quality time on this seasonal delight!
You’ll need:
- Cranberry juice
- Chai tea bags
- Pinot noir
- citrus seltzer
- ginger brandy
- apples
- oranges
- pear
- cranberries
- cinnamon sticks
