Good riddance summer! Seriously…am I the only summer-hater out there?
Unpopular opinion: summer is the worst season. I know winter can be difficult, but you can always put on another sweater to keep warm. There’s only so much you can take off to keep cool in the summer.
And sure…living in a country that doesn’t believe in AC certainly doesn’t help.
So I’m ready to say sayonara to summer. And I’m gonna do it in style with our September Sangria of the Month:
Texas Peach Sangria
This recipe comes from Sue Weaver, contributor at Just a Pinch. Just a Pinch is a collection of proven recipes from home cooks who know what it’s like to cook in the real world. We don’t have hours to watch simmering pots or let dough rise. We need to get dinner on the table quickly so we can get to bed at a reasonable hour, right?
Just a pinch gets it.
That’s why they feature quick-n-simple-but-delicious recipes like cheeseburger casserole, shrimp tacos, and “The Easiest Pineapple Cake”.
And this uber-easy peach sangria.
This Texas Peach Sangria recipe takes only 5 ingredients. And the chopping is minimal 😉
- Chardonnay
- Peach Vodka
- Ginger Ale
- Peaches
- Peach Nectar (in the tomato juice aisle)
That’s all you need!
Get over to Just a Pinch for the complete recipe. And send summer off in style.
Cheers to the next 3 seasons!
