New Year, New You, New Sangria!
Time to toast the new year! And we have the perfect sangria to help you start 2019 in style…
Winter Sangria from Honey and Birch
Let me tell you why I love this sangria so much.
First, this seasonal recipe combines classic winter flavors like citrus, cranberry, and mint. Mint in sangria? Yes, please!
Second, this recipe calls for sugar-and-spice rimmed glasses. How friggin fun and delicious is that?! Why are we not rimming more sangria glasses?
Third, one of my 2019 resolutions is to eat more fruit. Check!
Side note: you’re gonna wanna spend a little time browsing Jenny’s other recipes at Honey and Birch. You’ll find some genius ideas like baked goat cheese with roasted cranberries, easy orange honey ham, and boozy mint hot chocolate (make it before winter passes you by!).
Here’s what you’ll need to whip up a batch of Winter Sangria:
- Red wine (or Beso del Sol Sangria for extra depth of flavor)
- Cranberries
- Oranges
- Lemons
- Limes
- Tangerines
- Fresh Mint
- Ginger Ale
Plus some spices for rimming your glasses:
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- Sugar
Get yourself over to Honey and Birch for the full recipe, and enjoy your winter sangria all January long!
